Audrey Goldsmith was born and raised in Northern California where she began riding at the age of 3. Since the family horses lived at home, Pony Club played an important role in her learning to care for horses. Her passion was the hunter/jumper shows. As a Junior rider she placed in the top 10 in every West coast medal finals and competed successfully back East at Harrisburg, VA and New York City for the AHSA National Equitation Finals.
She began her professional career right out of high school and expanded her interests and education in the jumper division with the great horse "Windex." As a trainer and instructor, she has produced many West coast Champions at every level from Short/Long Stirrup to Open Jumpers. She has judged Hunter/Jumper shows in California, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Oregon.
Audrey has worked with many of the elite in the Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing worlds. Her extensive Dressage background is due largely to her work with "International Greats" such as Lilo Fore, Steffen Peters, Anders Lindgren, and Lynn Roberts-Johnson. For the past two years Audrey has been working with dressage clinicians Sue Sherry from Wyoming and Miguel Ralão Duarte from Portugal. Audrey is also a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist which was earned entirely riding her mule Heart B Porter Creek.
Always wanting to expand her knowledge of different disciplines, Audrey added Cowboy Dressage to her list in 2016. She competed with Porter in the Cowboy Dressage Top Hand Challenge at the Far West Regional show at Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte, OR. She was Champion at this competition with the highest score ever given in Cowboy Dressage! She went on to the Cowboy Dressage Top Hand World Gathering in Rancho Murieta, CA to again be Champion! This was the first time these competitions have been won on a mule!
In the Eventing world, Audrey worked and schooled horses for Noel Parker-Ortiz, who was short listed for the Atlanta Olympic 3-Day Team. Together they traveled to Rolex Kentucky and Fairhill 4-Star competitions where Noel competed. Audrey also worked with the US 3-Day coach, Captain Mark Phillips.
Audrey has developed a well-rounded system of training and teaching from a very unique prospective. She takes in the knowledge that all of these incredible professionals have to offer and adds the experiences from super stars from the Hunter/Jumper world such as Carleton Brooks, Sandy Farrell, Susie Hutchinson, Ann Kursinski, and Richard Keller.
Audrey's program is very methodical and detailed. Its focus is on correct rider position and how this creates a light, well balanced horse. This combination produces a positive, confident ride for both horse and rider.
Since moving to the Sisters, OR area, Audrey has expanded into several other disciplines.
She has competed successfully in Horse Trials, Jumping Derbys, Mountain Trail, and Dressage, with horses and mules. She has competed in Reining, and Western Pleasure with her mules. She has also worked with and competed with many different breeds including Peruvian Pasos, Tennessee Walking Horses, Halflingers, Rocky Mountan Horses, Arabians, Andalusians, Quarter Horses, Mules, Warmbloods, Welsh Cobbs, Paso Finos, and Cross Breeds.

Audrey thoroughly enjoys teaching dedicated, hard working students who are interested in a detailed, logical system that works for most any discipline or breed. She knows that her riders will gain the confidence and skills to achieve their goals, whether it be to be more confident out on the trail or in the winner's circle in competition.
